  • Why Catholic Education : Catholic education helps students to fulfill their ultimate purpose in life- to know, love and serve God. Facilitating the development of students’ spirituality as a part of their education is essential to valuing their whole personhood.
  • Why Saint Raphael School: Saint Raphael School lives out its Catholic mission in all it does. The heart and soul of the school is like nothing I have ever experienced in any other educational setting. Because of this, SRS has allowed me to thrive as my authentic self and in turn, I am able to encourage that same personal development in each of my students.
  • Your Classroom in one word: Relationship
  • Favorite Book: This is a challenging question for me! I LOVE to read! The list goes on and on… As a Religion teacher I’ll start with my favorite book of the Bible- the Acts of the Apostles. Also, a great spiritual read is Searching For and Maintaining Peace by Jacques Philippe. I love anything by C.S. Lewis, especially escaping to Narnia, Jane Austen is pretty much my hero, and any middle schooler will tell you I love a good Young Adult series. Also, have you read What Do You Do With an Idea to your kids yet?
  • What year did you start at SRS: 2012
  • Hobbies/favorite activities: Reading, Baking, and pretty much doing anything with friends and family!
