St. Raphael School, centrally located in downtown San Rafael, California, is a co-ed elementary through junior high school (K-8) that is fully accredited.

Founded in 1889 as part of the Mission San Rafael, Saint Raphael School is one of California's original mission schools. Saint Raphael School is more than a school; it is a community steeped in tradition, while dedicated to addressing today's intellectual, social and spiritual challenges. We celebrate diversity and inclusiveness in a warm, welcoming school community.

Saint Raphael School exceeds all national, state and Catholic educational standards, and is accredited by the Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.(WASC)

Our full-time faculty is innovative and fully credentialed. They average 15 years teaching experience and continually upgrade their skills as educators.
