PTG (Parent Teacher Guild)

The purpose of PTG is to first and foremost support our students!   Our efforts to raise funds and support the faculty, staff, ultimately create a stronger community within our school…something we are very proud of at SRS!   In order for us to be successful, parent involvement is critical!   There are several opportunities to show your support and be active this year.  
  • Volunteer!! Volunteer!! The school relies on us---All of us! There are plenty of ways to help at school during the day or even in the comfort of your own home.
  • Take a leadership position on PTG or become a chair person on a committee
  • Of  course, we have events EVERY month…which is a great way to fulfill the 40 service hour requirement per family.

Research shows that students whose parents are involved in their education have better grades and fewer discipline problems. We are confident the time and energies you give to supporting school through PTG will make a positive impact on your child!

The PTG is governed by a Board, comprised of parent volunteers, which meets on a monthly basis. All members of the school community are welcome at the Board meetings. Meeting places and times are published in the weekly bulletin and on our school calendar.
